"Mad Dash Rocks"

Michael,
Thank you again, and please thank all 5 of your most excellent band members, for the super hot performance this last Saturday. This was our post-marriage "reception party" for all our friends, and everyone raved about the band all night, and this past several days.

Mad Dash played a great blend of old classic Rock 'n Roll from the 50's to the 80's, fast and a few slow ones, and the Elks Club was one rockin' joint Saturday night. When you guys played the "Hokey-Pokey" we couldn't believe all the people up and 'shakin it all about' in a big circle. I'm still chuckling about that tune. The Eagles' tunes were spot on. My friend Jack T. said it was the party of the century. Well, that might be a bit of an exaggeration, cuz he's not that old yet. ;=))

We would be most happy to vouch for your band and your music. If someone wants to book a great night of old school Rock, you are IT.
Rock Lives, and Mad Dash ROCKS !!!!
Cheers!

"You made our wedding Great!"

Subject: Mad Dash performance at Wedding, June 14, 2003 wedding reception

Dear Michael,

We would like to express our gratitude for the exceptional performance by Mad Dash at the wedding reception of our son and new daughter in law. Everyone we have seen since then have commented on the terrific performance by your group, covering various old Rock and Roll tunes from the past that we all remembered, with a touch of Blues, and Pop, some from when we were kids ourselves. Even the younger crowd was impressed.

The tempo and flow of music along with MC’ing the reception from the beginning was well received. Your choice of break time CD selections fit in well and emphasized your ability to act as a DJ, as well, on this occasion.

We would highly recommend you without hesitation to anyone who is planning a reception or other function and looking for a full service band and DJ service of the highest quality.

Should we or any one we know need the services of a professional musical group, you’ll be the first we choose.

We wish you further success, and please feel free to use us as a reference any time.

Thank you again,

Ron and Linda Boyd

MAD DASH

MAD DASH is a high-energy six-piece “showy-dance” band, which was originally founded over 20 years ago in Los Angeles. The band is now “wowing” their audiences in Sacramento, Nevada and the Sierra Nevada Foothills area. Mad Dash plays a variety of tunes ranging from rockin’ oldies to current top 40. They are real “crowd-pleasers” and it has been noticed that people enjoy dancing and singing along with the familiar tunes.

They have appeared as opening act for the world famous “Little Richard” at Graffiti Night in Modesto. They have played numerous festivals, street fairs, night clubs and have been guests on many local radio stations and cable TV shows.

The band consists 3 guys and 3 gals. First we have Michael A. Gregory on lead vocals, guitar and harmonica. He writes the band's original material, arranges the cover music and is the bandleader. He formerly performed with The Box Tops, The Stony Brook People, The Drifters and many other popular groups from the New York to California. The band features female lead vocalist Valerie Marston , who has appeared all over the Sacramento in other bands and musical theater. Valerie is a “show-stopping” entertainer. The other featured lead vocalist is Rachelle, an award winning singer and songwriter. She adds great emotion to every performance. Steve Artz is the group's drummer He too is a seasoned performer and has appeared all over California. On alto sax and vocals, we have Dorothy Sills, who appears regularly with many bands around the Sacramento area. On bass guitar and vocals we have David Meyers, who has appeared with The Alanis Crow Project and many bands in the Sacramento area over the last few years.
