| All About Music TV & Film Selects Sonicbids as Exclusive Submission Platform TV & Film Retreat 2003 to take place in Nashville, June 12-14, 2003. The 3rd annual All About Music, TV & Film Retreat, held in Nashville, TN on June 12-14, 2003, is bringing new life and opportunities for the independent artist. This private retreat, supported by ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC, bring together Music Supervisors (people who place music on TV shows) with artists for film and TV placement. Heavily attended by Major Country Labels and Music Publishers in Nashville, the event also features Indie artists in Rock, Pop and Rap. These “unknown” artists have found national success directly from this retreat, with recent placements on HBO, NBC, the WB and movies. Some success stories include Spoken Word Artist J.IVY, who appeared on HBO’s first ever, Def Poetry Slam, and Singer/Songwriter April McLean who landed 4 songs on the WB’s Felicity. 1st place winner will receive: * Three song showcase in front of Music Supervisors * Two night stay at Marriott (If a full band is chosen, two rooms max will be awarded) * 1/2 page in retreat book for bio and pictures of artist New Sonicbids members pay a package price of $99.95 for an annual Sonicbids membership and a chance to showcase at the All About Music TV & Film Retreat 2003.
