| Sonicbids Announces Exclusive Deal With North By Northeast (NXNE) Canada's premier music conference to use online platform for EPK submissions North By Northeast (NXNE), Canada's premier music conference has signed a deal with Sonicbids to use the company's Online Submission Platform exclusively for its 2004 conference which take place in Toronto in June 2004. Under the terms of the deal, NXNE will take online submission of press kits exclusively through Sonicbids beginning November 1, 2003. Sonicbids members will be able to submit their Electronic Press Kits (EPK) to the conference with a click of the button through the "Promoter Drop Box" in their account; non-Sonicbids members will get a special offer to join the online service and submit to NXNE for one low price, to be announced at a later date. NXNE joins a string of high profile events that have chosen to exclusively use Sonicbids for their online submissions the past few months. These include the NEMO Music Conference in Boston, MA, the Atlantis Music Conference, in Atlanta, GA, the Billboard Song Contest, the aXis Music Conference in Orlando, FL, the Millenium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA, the Midwest Music Summitin Indianapolis, IN, the Nashville New Music Conference in Nashville, TN and scores of others. In a separate deal, Sonicbids also announced that NXNE will extend a special offer to 25 Sonicbids bands to submit their EPK for consideration for this year's conference (Toronto, June 5-7, 2003) for the special price of $50 which also includes the cost of registration to the conference (normally $100). Sonicbids will be opening submissions for the event on Thursday, March 27, 2003. |
