| IMC2003 Announces Showcase Submissions Through Sonicbids First Independent Music Conference Taking Place in Philly Aug. 28-31 The first ever Independent Music Conference, a national conference byand for indie musicians, is accepting Showcase PerformanceWorkshop applications from those interested in performing at the event. The event promises to be radically different from typical musicconferences in many ways, not the least of which is its DIY ethos.Organized and presented entirely by indie musicians and organizations,the IMC2003 will focus most heavily on education. Even the showcaseshave been upgraded to "Performance Workshops" to maximize the learningvalue of this event for its attendees. Sonicbids artists wishing to be considered are encouraged to submitusing their Sonicbids Drop Box.
