Midpoint Music Festival (MPMF) 2003 Extends Deadline for Sonicbids

The Midpoint Music Festival will be Taking Place in Cincinnati, Sept 24th – 27th

Midpoint Music Festival (MPMF) has signed a deal with Sonicbids to use the company’s Online Submission Platform for its 2003 conference. Part of the deal involves an extended deadline for Sonicbids members. While the deadline for regular submissions was April 25th, through this special agreement, Sonicbids members have until May 11th to submit for only $25.

MPMF 2003 promises to double last year's success, with top notch showcases featuring artists from a number of genres, useful panel topics and networking sessions for the independent artist/producer/manager, and world famous speakers and respected industry professionals sharing their time and experience. Many of the Festival's panelists and attendees rated Midpoint one of the best industry conferences and showcases they had ever attended.

Bands interested in submitting to this event can go to www.sonicbids.com/mpmf to register and complete an EPK™. Once the EPK™ is completed, it will automatically be submitted into their mailbox! Existing Sonicbids members should simply log into their account and submit through their Promoter Drop Box! The deadline for submissions is May 11th. Part of the deal is a deadline extension from the regular submission process, which ended April 25th.

The Midpoint Music Festival started simply as an idea in late 2000: A music festival based in the Midwest, the 'mid point' of America, that would bring talented independent regional, national and international artists to Cincinnati, Ohio for three days and nights of showcases and music industry seminars. Steeped in its own rich music history (James Brown recorded his greatest songs here with Bootsy Collins, the Afghan Whigs, Ass Ponys, Blessid Union of Souls, and Peter Frampton have all called it home) and easily accessible from just about anywhere in the United States, Canada and Europe, the goal of Midpoint was to make enough noise to bring the music industry to the artist.
