| Sonicbids Announces Exclusive Deal With Folk Alliance Music Conference & Organization World's Premier Folk Music Conference to Use Platform for Online Showcase Submissions World's Premier Folk Music Conference to Use Platform for Online Showcase Submissions Folk Alliance, folk music's premier music conference and organization, has signed an agreement with Sonicbids to use the company's Online Submission Platform exclusively for its 2004 conference which takes place in San Diego, CA, February 26-29, 2004. Under the terms of the deal, Folk Alliance will begin accepting online submissions of press kits exclusively through Sonicbids beginning the week of May 12, 2003 (deadline for showcase submissions is May 31, 2003). Sonicbids members will be able to join Folk Alliance and submit their Electronic Press Kit (EPK) for showcasing at the conference with a click of the button through the "Promoter Drop Box" in their account; non-Sonicbids members will get a special offer to join the online service and Folk Alliance, as well as submit for conference showcasing for the special fee of $99. Pricing details are as follows: - $99 for non-Folk Alliance members who wish to submit online. This includes a six-month subscription to Sonicbids (normally $29.95), a one-year membership to Folk Alliance (regularly $60), and showcase submission fee (normally $95).
