Bio

Dedication.

At 11:45 am on February 10, 2006, Dave Hansen jumped into his car with guitarsit Rob Johnstone and they began the over five hour trek to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After making great time, they reached The Rave only ten minutes late for their 5:00pm load-in time. Then, joined by Ryno and James Carroll, PB played a rocking 30 minute set that opened some ears and moved some feet. Finally, at 8:30pm while the rest of the band stayed to watch the other bands, Dave loaded his drums into his car and made his way back to Minneapolis, alone. He had to work at 11:00am the next morning. Over 10 hours of driving for 30 minutes of music.

This is just one example of how dedicated Possibly Bailey is to sharing their music and spreading their wings throughout the midwest.

Dedication. Variety. Laughs. Grooves.

Possibly Bailey represents a pure form of music that stems from blues, funk, rock, and jam roots. The band enjoys dancing around from genre to genre, not being held down to a particular style. It is a sound that continues to win over new ears and add to their loyal following that continues to show support.

The four pieces of this band have come together to create flowing melodies, rocking grooves, and all-around positive feeling music. Powered by a tight rhythm section and unique riffs, Possibly Bailey can sit back and jam, or grab your socks and rock them right off. Inspired by the unique writings and teachings of guitarist/singer Ryno, the band is constantly growing by changing their music, or adding a little PB to the music of others.

Possibly Bailey was born in 2002, when Rob, Ryno, and former bassist Ryan united with drummer Dave Hansen, formerly of Chicago-based Max Capacity. The addition of local bass talent James Carroll (after passing several strenuous tests) has only furthered the band's growth with a new voice and non-traditional style. Since their beginning, Possibly Bailey, has played all over Minnesota, Wisconsin, and into Illinois while sharing bills with great bands such as Umphrey's McGee, The Big Wu, Fat Maw Rooney, McKinley Place, Red Wanting Blue, Root City Band, Hoofla, Oakhurst, Fancy Bastard, and more.
