Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series 2009

The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general performance consideration. Performers receive use of a full PA and sound engineer. Air-conditioned dressing rooms and private backstage areas are also available for the performers. Set lengths usually run from 75-90 minutes, all beginning at 8pm, Thursday-Sunday. Compensation is offered in select cases, and is negotiated at the time of booking. Almost all music genres are allowed, however material must be of a family-friendly nature (i.e., lyrics must be clean). All concerts are sponsored by the City of Rehoboth Beach or individual sponsors.

The Rehoboth Beach Bandstand Summer Concert Series takes place every year from mid-June through August. They have been providing free entertainment to Rehoboth Beach since 1963. Each year over 50 bands are selected to perform in an open-air concert venue. Past performers have included Love Seed Mama Jump, The Funsters, Pucho and the Latin Soul Brothers, Paul Cullen, US Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus, Cliff Hillis, The Diamonds, Kathy Lee Gifford, E3, and many other regional and national acts.
