"WBGU 88.1"

"The Death of Amara Lee" is a definitive example of Resonant Soul's talent. The range of Anthony Beck's vocals is simply electrifying."

"Sentinel Tribune"

“Resonant Soul have electric guitars, drums, keyboards and vocal arrangements
much like many other groups, and they play the part of an up-and-coming indie
band trenching their way through the fields of iconoclastic, youthful rockers.
Yet, with one hand holding a lyrical pen and another hand thumbing through dusty
books of literature, Resonant Soul’s newest album “The Death of Amara Lee” continues
to suggest that artistic expression and creative integrity can go hand-in-hand with
commercial success as a band.” - Cole Christensen

"The Toledo Music Review"

"Spotlight: Resonant Soul"

Resonant Soul clearly loves alternative rock. Local H, Our Lady Peace, maybe a bit of Radiohead - you can hear all that and more on "The Death of Amara Lee," the Toledo band's current full-length. Vocalist and pianist Anthony Beck, guitarists John and Dan Fowler, drummer Rick Acker and bass player Josh Bock are currently playing a few shows with the Ataris, including one at Mac's Bar on Sunday. But this isn't the first time Resonant Soul has gigged with a well-known act. They've played with Bad Company, the Misfits, Local H and Shinedown, to name a few. Couple that with the band's exuberant, arena rock-flavored songs, and it all points toward a bright future for the group. Note: Before the Mac's gig, catch Resonant Soul playing a free acoustic set at the Meridian Mall Hot Topic at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Bio

Born into rust-belt abandonment RESONANT SOUL is a blue-collar quintet that finds solace in balancing the delicate tight-rope of pop sensibility with cello counter-melodies and whimsical falsettos to their aggressive and hard-hitting nature.

Touted as one of Toledo's hardest working, charismatic and entertaining rock bands, Resonant Soul has packed venues more tightly than even the highest profile visiting national acts.

Resonant Soul's eclectic musical latitude has scored them gigs with classic acts like BAD COMPANY, BOSTON, WHITE SNAKE, and The MISFITS to more modern acts like LOCAL H, TRAPT, SHINEDOWN, EVE 6, and SALIVA.

They have been featured at numerous regional industry showcases as well as grand scale festivals like THE PLEASANTVILLE (NY) MUSIC FESTIVAL and have toured in numerous cities including: Cleveland, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, Cincinnati, Columbus, Akron, and Indianapolis, to name a few.

When All Else is Destroyed from their album The Death of Amara Lee received considerable buzz on XM Radio’s Radar Report and was placed in ESPNU college football highlights. The Album has physical distribution in 100+ stores across the country.

Their newest song Truly These Are the Last Days has been receiving considerable air play during normal programming on Clear Channel Radio stations including 100.7 WMMS the Buzzard. It has also won them a spot in the Kings of A&R E-zine among some of the newest major label acts.
