Bio

It takes a selection of high quality original music written by some of Nashville’s biggest songwriters and four talented musicians that are all friends to succeed at the highest level in today’s country music venue.

Hard work…determination…sacrifice… those three terms aptly defines what Riverbilly is all about. Years of hard work and a determination to succeed at the highest level has sharpened the skills of and paved the way for Travis, Brad, Steve, Charlie and TJ. Each raised on different backgrounds of music. All five have been in bands respectively before coming together to form Riverbilly

For the past seven years, they have been criss-crossing the country as one of the most sought out independent country bands in the country, honing their craft on stages large and small,. Riverbilly is known throughout the country as a band with one of the most dynamic live shows in any genre of music.

The list of those they have shared bills with continues to grow—Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, REO Speedwagon, Darius Rucker, Little Big Town, Jason Aldean, Josh Turner, Charlie Daniels, Rascal Flats, Taylor Swift, and many others. But this band does not worry about who plays before or after, all they care about is when they are together on stage.

Riverbilly is the total package, they have great vocals, world-class energetic live show, talented with a unique look and charisma to burn. Not to mention their wealth of experience and a work ethic that impresses everyone.

Along with their amped-up live show, Riverbilly’s incredible sound with three-part harmony combined together allows them to continue the winning of fans in city after city, night after night.

In September of 2011, Lead Singer/Guitarist, Travis Caudell was involved in a head on collision sustaining life threatening injuries which caused the band to take off the remaining year and the majority of 2012, allowing Caudell to heal and rehab. After coming back to the stage the band set out to Nashville again to start writing, recording and seeking new music. After signing with a management company in Nashville, the band found themselves leaving and going back to their roots where it all began.

Currently the band has six new songs recorded for their new album, while working on completing the album that is tentatively scheduled for a 2015 release. Juggling the tour schedule and their families keeps the band busy, but they are always thankful for their dedicated fans that allow them to fulfill their dreams every time they step on that stage.

“We walk out, take one look at the crowd and attack. We never let up, whether it’s a thirty-minute opening slot for a headliner or a two-hour show. The energy stays cranked up the entire time.” Behind that energy is a world of industry knowledge put to good use. We put time, effort, passion, drive, determination, creativity and initiative into making our ideas, music and dreams become reality every single time we step on a stage.”

It s a chemistry that most desire and never experience. Riverbilly’s current involvement in Domestic Violence Awareness and Special Olympics has led them to a national television appearance and continued touring throughout the country playing over 100 shows a year.
