BAND TO WATCH: She's the Queen
New York, NY, December 14, 2009 – Indie pop, as we know it, has changed forever. Sure, that’s a bold statement, but more so, it’s a statement of great accuracy.
Ladies and Gents, pull up your proverbial undies and make sure you’re not operating any heavy machinery – you’re about to have an eargasm.
She’s The Queen wanted to release an EP that would abundantly reflect who they are: a duo of talented vocals, skilled producing talents and, simply, 20-something year-olds who dig good electro-pop. Emily White swoons with a set of soulful pipes, while Andrew Kuryloski uses his musical genius writing, producing and playing instruments ranging from home-made maracas to iPads.
Any intelligent music listener can pick out STQ’s influences ranging from contemporary electro greats like Zero 7, Ellie Goulding, Daft Punk, and La Roux to old school master[production]minds like Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Bill Withers and Prince. But beyond that, everyone can appreciate STQ’s unique approach to writing catchy songs.
As We Run – A synth/pop anthem, this uber-pop-tastic hook stays with you for days.
Use Me – An innovative and original electronic take on Bill Withers' classic soul tune.
Passing Exits – A song with a story, this pop/synth beat holds the song tight in place while offering the listener a myriad of melodic harmonies.
This delicious poppy-outfit continues to write and record songs (yes, plural) every day and are anticipating releasing a full-length album in 2010.

Bio
Tsars, Emperors and Kaisers -- please bow before the lyrical, harmonious, melodic Musical Highness, She's The Queen.
Alright -- get back up, dust yourselves off and turn on your speakers. It's time to be royally blown away by STQ's know-how pop, electronic, and R&B collaboration of styles. Hailing from NYC and Philly, Emily White and Andrew Kuryloski decided to collaborate in late 2009, and have been creating catchy electro-pop tunes for the masses.
STQ has already released a self-titled EP and are currently working on a full-length album and tour.
So commoners, beware.
She's The Queen is musical sovereignty at its finest. It's really quite that simple.
