Shinbone Magazine is a monthly publication that specializes in providing news, reviews and interviews about Pennsylvania's musicians and the statewide entertainment scene in general.
Only PA artists or artists performing in PA will be accepted. The purpose of the magazine is to entertain and inform the bands, venues and fans of Pennsylvania nightlife, as well as entertainment coming to Pennsylvania.
Shinbone is a monthly tabloid magazine that is distributed for free in over 500 music venues statewide, reaching over 60,000 musicians and fans each month.
Shinbone’s reviews focus on Pennsylvanian musicians, those performing in the state of PA, and also artists in the surrounding states in all genres. In-house critics review submissions, and then the "soundboard" of 5 regular folks across the state score the band's "featured track" to give feedback on how the general public would and will react.
