"Winnipeg Free Press 2008"

"A slim young woman sitting on the stage, simultaneously playing her fiddle and step-dancing, quickly stole the hearts of the capacity audience Tuesday night at Westminster United Church. She also unintentionally stole the show...a previously fidgety audience sat motionless and mesmerized by the smoky, mood-setting music as Noble cast a spell, summoning simpler times gone by." - Gwenda Nemerofsky, Winnipeg Free Press, 2007

"News From Indian Country 2006"

"Noble glides her bow easily across the gut with a willowy abandon...while other players do etchings, Noble paints in watercolors." - Brian Wright-McLeod, Indian Country News

"Calgary Sun 2006"

"She's a talented fiddler who focuses on the traditional Metis style, but also can handle Cajun, Celtic, country and other styles with ease. And she uses her gift to help fundraise for humanitarian causes. In other words, she's the kind of precocious, totally together kid you'd normally love to hate. Once you hear her work her magic on this debut disc of instrumental gems, though, we expect you'll change your mind." - Darryl Sterdan, Calgary Sun

"Status Of Women 2006"

"Sierra Noble, a young Métis fiddling sensation, has proven that preserving culture through music and song is one of the most powerful ways to express oneself...This young woman's performance was spell-binding. She delighted the crowd with her energy, skill and knowledge imparted by many of the greatest fiddlers in Canada. Her message, "Continue to dream. Never give up on your dreams," was underscored throughout her performance." - Status of Women Canada

"UPTOWN Magazine 2009"

Sierra Noble has long been a 'hot property' on the Manitoba music scene - a teenage fiddle champ with a winning grin and a spitfire stage presence. But how do you take a fiddle prodigy and turn her into a career-oriented performer? In Noble's case, her handlers are following the Alison Krauss model. Sierra has learned to be a singer as well as a fiddler and she's had some great co-writers working with her, from Alannah Myles' muse Christopher Ward to our own Chris Burke-Gaffney, Keith Macpherson and Jaylene Johnson. The end results are pleasantly surprising - especially the beautiful title cut, Possibility - John Kendle - UPTOWN MAG

"Winnipeg Free Press 2009"

On her new six-track EP Possibilities, Noble sings with a heavenly sweet yet confident voice comparable to the likes of Norah Jones or Colbie Caillat. The songs are tasteful, somewhat understated pop, accented by Noble's string work, which adds even more warmth and dignity to her already polished, mature delivery…When it comes to a world class career in music for Sierra Noble, this EP confirms the possibilities are endless. - Bruce Laperre - WPG Free Press

THE MUSICIAN

If being chosen to open for Paul McCartney at 19 years old wasn't enough, Sierra Noble has been one of Winnipeg, Manitoba’s most promising young talents since releasing her first instrumental album of Traditional Metis fiddle tunes at age 14. Well known for most of her life as a fiddle virtuoso and now as a well versed singer and songwriter, Sierra’s breadth of experience in music and in life at 23 is impressive.

But, she has never been one to rest on her laurels. Encouraged by fellow musicians to sing, at age 17 Sierra decided to try her hand at writing songs. Her journey as a singer-songwriter has proven to be off to a promising start. Inspired by everything from the folk styling’s of her idols like Patty Griffin, to the Top 40 hits of the last 6 decades, Sierra picked up the guitar and quickly began honing a unique style and voice of her own.

Sierra's music has taken her around the world, touring in Canada, The US, Europe, and South America. Sierra’s shows captivate audiences with compelling mood setting performances creating an atmosphere where stunning instrumentals and hook laden pop songs exist in perfect harmony, all the while leaving the audience with a real sense of who she is. Those same performances have brought opportunities such as opening for Paul McCartney, Kid Rock, Bon Jovi, as well as performing in the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, and for the Queen of England

Her songs speak of universal themes of love, longing, and discovery wrapped in infectious melodies and delivered with sincerity and conviction. Her voice, a study in gorgeous contradictions – wonderfully pure yet layered with subtle, smoky tones.
"...Subtle yet deep, emotionally moving and soul-satisfying!" said a Texas fan about the young songstress.

Her folk/pop style is evident with the 2009 critically acclaimed 6 song EP release, “Possibilities”. The single, "Possibility" was played on radio stations across Canada with her music video for the song debuting in the Top 20 Countdown on CMT Canada and in the Top 10 on MuchMore Music.

Sierra's music also grabbed the attention of the Television industry. Her music has been heard in hit TV shows such as; One Tree Hill, (Possibility and I Can See), Life Unexpected, (Possibility), Switched at Birth (Human After All and I Can See), and most recently, Parenthood, (Human After All).

Carrying on momentum into 2011, Sierra was the first Canadian ever to be named the winner of "Best Song" and "Best Performance" at the prestigious 52nd Annual Viña Del Mar International Song Festival in Chile in front of 100 million in Spanish speaking countries around the globe with her song "Try Anything", A song that she wrote while still in high school.

Sierra’s youtube channel has over 500,000 uploaded views. Additionally, the track, Human After All debuted at #6 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart on the heels of the TV broadcast of the Parenthood episode ("Missing") which featured the song in it’s entirety.

Sierra has been spending a lot of time in New York City where a fateful chance meeting with legendary Grammy Award winning producer, Russ Titelman (Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Steve Winwood, Randy Newman, Rickie Lee Jones) fueled an immediate creative chemistry.

Sierra Noble is an artist to watch for with a brand new EP in Summer 2013, followed by a full length album, produced by Russ Titelman to be released in early 2014.
