Sixx Digit's Cold November Rain is some bonafide good rap stuff coming out of Toledo. At once entertaining and instropective this emcee has the sing-song style of Bone Thugs. I don't know him personally so I'm not sure he's really street but damn if his lyrics don't depict em. Basically he serves the role as real time CNN.
Down side. I am tired of hearing bout drugs and hoes. But hey, Digit deftly crafts his tales with good wordplay bringing his world to vivid, raw and dirty life. There's no denying his skills. They can only get better.
Very infectious. The beats are minimalistic in a good way. They provide the perfect backdrop to Digit's lyrics and hooks while being able to stand on their own in rollin and livin in the hood scenarios. How do I know? Because I used to role through my hood and yes this is what I most likely would have listened to.
The production not being too glossy or polished lends credence to his lyrics and bolsters the urgency and sense of doom that this artist clearly rhymes about.

Bio
Sixx Digit is, for lack of a more defining term, a "Hip-Hop" artist. An emcee, songwriter, and performer. With a Midwest flow the self proclaimed "best white rapper alive" is originality at it's finest.
Sixx Digit started writing and recording music at an early age. At the age of 15 he began to experience local success, opening for acts like Juvenile and Lil' Flip.
Sixx would immediately start work on his first solo album entitled "The O.F. of America." He has since released three mixtapes, a second full length album entitled "The Illusionist", and in June of 2009, his third album, a double disc entitled "Cold November Rain," his first effort with production by Donny Knotz.
In January of 2008, Sixx began his first tour of the United States and performed 20 plus dates over 3 months.
Sixx has opened shows for Lil' Scrappy, Youngbloodz, Dem Franchize Boyz, Tech Nine, Too Short, and many others.
In April of 2011 Sixx released his first DVD "An Evening With Sixx Digit", and will release his fourth studio album also this year.
With his fan base continually growing, Sixx Digit is more focused than ever. Make no mistake, he is a legend in the making, and you can expect to hear, and see a lot more from Sixx Digit!
