Music BC Songwriters Competition (extended)

Music BC (Pacific Music Industry Association) is a non-profit society that supports and promotes the spirit, development, and growth of the BC music community provincially, nationally, and internationally. Music BC provides education, resources, advocacy, opportunities for funding, networking and a forum for communication.

Music BC’s 2nd Annual Provincial Songwriting Contest, SongBird West is designed to recognize new and emerging talent in British Columbia Songwriting, nurture the musical talent of BC songwriters and promote the excellence in the art of songwriting and provide an opportunity for aspiring songwriters to further their music careers and gain recognition and exposure in the music industry. Music BC is dedicated to creating opportunities for new BC talent. This is a chance for amateur songwriters across BC to be discovered (or rediscovered)!

Any self-published or non-published songwriter residing in BC is eligible to enter. Entries will be judged on originality, melody, composition and lyrics. 3 winners will be chosen.
