Atlantis Music Conference & Festival 2007 (extended) Back to It Works

Atlantis Music Conference & Festival 2007 (extended)
http://www.atlantismusic.com

Sep 19 - 22, 2007

In its tenth anniversary year, Atlantis has made some BIG changes they think will really benefit the artists that participate. They’ve basically moved all the events (showcases, panels, parties exhibit area) all under one roof, The CW Music Midtown Complex (Center Stage, The Loft Vinyl). By decreasing their venues, they’ll be increasing the traffic for artists’ shows—not just with fans but with industry. Since the 150 panelists that come to Atlantis will already be in the building where the showcases and parties are happening, it is much more convenient for them to attend more of them. Atlantis will also be targeting panelists that are actively seeking to work with new talent. They want every artist that participates in Atlantis to have the opportunity to make connections that will take their careers to the next level. By submitting to perform at Atlantis the person applying, even if they are not chosen to showcase, receives one Conference registration, (a $250 value) good for all conference events, in the applicant’s name. This registration is non-transferable so be sure the applicant is the person who will attend the Conference in October of 2007 in Atlanta.

Atlantis brings together professionals representing all sectors of the music industry, music enthusiasts, students, media and more than 300 of music’s most promising new artists for 4 around-the-clock days and nights of performances, panels, parties, keynote addresses and more. Atlantis showcases are known throughout the industry for featuring the best new artists--95% of which are unsigned--performing in Atlanta’s renowned live music venues. Independent artists from rock Rock, Hip Hop, Soul, Country, Christian, Latin, Pop, Punk, Metal and R&B are given the opportunity to be seen and heard by some of today’s most influential industry executives and A&R representatives. Past showcasing artists include Mastodon, Maroon 5, Los Lonely Boys, John Mayer, Cee-Lo, Bone Crusher, Cartel, Tony Rich, Goodie Mob, Lost Prophets, The Lost Trailers, Sugarland, The Wright’s, Trapt, Bowling for Soup and Kottonmouth Kings. Last year more than 100 Sonicbids artists played at Atlantis! Past panelists include Steve Schnur (Worldwide Executive of EA Games), Dallas Austin (Super Producer), Matt Serletic (CEO of Virgin Records), Steve Gottlieb (President of TVT Records), Mathew Knowles (President of Music World), Three Doors Down, Shinedown, Teddy Riley, India.Arie, Jermaine Dupri (Executive Vice President of Urban Music at Virgin Records) and many more.

Please note: If you are interested in having your music reviewed and critiqued by one of Atlantis’ Showcase Directors, select the appropriate package that includes this critique for an additional $15. If you choose this option, Atlantis will provide you with a full critique of no less than 1 typed paragraph of your EPK authored by one of their Showcase Directors. Your Atlantis Critique will be sent to the e-mail address listed on your Sonicbids account no later than August 17th 2007.
