Bio
Flutist/singer/songwriter Suki Rae has been performing for over twenty five years. Her flute playing transcends genres and categories. Classically trained, she has performed as a soloist,with guitar duo,and instrumentalists of jazz,blues,world,New Age,and the list goes on. She has original music in multiple styles.She has performed in festivals,concerts,workshops,sessions,world-wide.She has been musician in residence in Israel,Spain,New Mexico,Colorado,Florida and at Cornell University. She has appeared on Radio and TV and been involved with choreographers,in Theatre and Film.She has received many awards for her music
In 2009 she appeared in a documentary with the rock band OASIS, "Dig your Soul on the Streets." She received a grant to produce a Peace Concert of original music at St. Marks Church. She wrote music,text, and lyrics,acted in,directed and produced her autobiographical musical at the Writer's Voice in New York City.
She has six released recordings- five or original music.
