The Aquarian Weekly/East Coast Rocker is a New York/New Jersey-based alternative weekly serving the regional music scene since 1969. The full Aquarian Weekly is available at newsstands throughout the tri-state area, with the free East Coast Rocker insert available at tri-state area clubs, venues, nightlife spots, etc.
Circulation of the Aquarian Weekly is 35,000, with an additional 30,000 East Coast Rockers allocated for free distribution.
All genres are included in the publication, but the general focus of the paper has long been Rock and its many derivative forms. The paper regularly covers major, independent, regional and local artists. There are several different opportunities to be featured in the Aquarian:
- Unsigned Issue - Band must be unsigned and from NY/NJ/Philly-Area PA
- Shoreworld - Band can be signed, must be from Jersey Shore/Central Jersey Area (Weekly)
- North Jersey Notes - Band must be unsigned and from Northern New Jersey (Weekly)
- NY Notes - Band can be signed, must have upcoming shows in NYC (Weekly)
- Local Noise - Feature on one artist who must be unsigned and from NY/NJ/Philly-Area PA (Weekly)
