The Bottleneck, located in Lawrence, KS, is a live music club open 7 days a week. Live music is typically booked several nights a week, and hosts a live trivia show and karaoke on Sunday evenings

Bands are booked 1-3 months in advance. In addition to dedicated shows, every Monday is Open Mic night, with 5 thirty minute sets available to bands that sign up in advance. Open Mic is the Bottleneck's earliest contribution to the Lawrence music scene, offering a stage for up-and-coming bands and artists. This long-standing tradition has existed since the conception of this historic and renowned venue, and it continues to this day.

All genres of music are welcome. Local, regional, and touring artists are welcome to submit for booking consideration. Compensation is based on door minus sound costs. Travel costs and lodging are not provided.
