"towering days debut release"

If you've been following Towering Days, then you already know they changed their 'image' and band name from, "The Image," to "Towering Days," inspired by new work, new songs, a new vibe and a rebirth and growth of the band.

Probably a few of the nicest, down to earth guys you'll ever meet, and hailing from northeastern CT, Alexander Mack (vocals, piano), Jesse Mack (vocals, guitar, bass), Bob Ondek (drums, percussion), and Sean Riley (vocals, guitar, bass), collectively, "Towering Days," is an experimental indie pop band. Their sound features prominent keyboards, harmonies from three coequal vocalists, and a strong melodic focus.

They have been spending countless hours, long days and weeks in the studio preparing for their CD release (planned for October 2009) along side Trod Nossel engineer, Paul Mocadlo. With Paul pulling out all the stops and tricks of the trade, their sound is unique. Lending to their uniqueness; the use of some of Trod Nossel Studios' vintage and boutique gear, including the custom built Mocadlo amp.

With their impending release, and a possible tour planned overseas, Towering Days is certainly one to watch. More on Towering Days in a future news release. Stay tuned...

"Band Lyrics"

"Towering Days: Last Light in the House"

Towering Days is one of my favorite bands. They are from Northern CT, and are four very talented guys who write great music. Each musician has a different background, but all share common musical interests and standards, which are apparent in the songs.

Their first full-length album Last Light in the House is really a novel that reveals its plot as the listener journeys through the tracks. Each track is complete and has interesting instrumentation, lyrics, and orchestration. As you listen, you get this feeling that each song is building toward something great, and when you reach the last few tracks, you know that is has! Love as a Cross, Last Light in the House, and Appalachia are my absolute favorites, and makes this album an artistic unit that is truly outstanding.

Live, this band is great. They can perform everything they lay down in the studio, and the audience can’t help but love the vocal harmonies and the palatable-yet-unique melody lines.

You can purchase their album/tracks from their website www.toweringdays.com or from itunes….your ears will be glad you did! - Somethinglikeasong (music blog)

"Y'all were one of the best bands on the whole tour. Can't wait to play with you guys again."- Your Best Friend (Band from Michigan) - Your Best Friend

"Towering Days: Last Light in the House"

"Real light fingers on the keys, vibrant almost angelic soul touching. I'm loving the shadows of Bluegrass & Banjo throughout the album. A most unique sound, definitely in a class of its own. "The Rain Had Passed" has a signature sound and its the best song on the disc." - The Venue News
