WhatÂ’s Really Good? Wednesdays is a weekly music series occurring at The Underground in Greensboro, NC. They are looking for urban artists to perform including hip hop and R&B. Compensation is provided.


Myhouse Entertainment and Esoterica Entertainment started the music series to put a spotlight on the independent hip-hop scene. They book four artists each Wednesday and set times range from 20-30 minutes. The venue can hold up to 250 people and artists are encouraged to have a local draw, but their promotions team works to bring in a steady crowd. There is no backline, but there is a PA and sound engineer available. This music series is a great gig for independent hip-hop artists.
