Atlanta Pride Festival 2013

Atlanta Pride is the premier Gay and Lesbian festival in the Southeast, and one of the largest in the entire country. With over 300,000 annual attendees, this event draws visitors from around the world. At least six Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to perform.

The event will take place in Atlanta’s beautiful Piedmont Park located in midtown. The deadline for submissions is Aug 2nd and artists will know whether they were selected or not by Sep 6th.

This is a great opportunity for artists to showcase talents and perform in front of a lively, broad-ranging audience. While there is only minimal compensation for performers, some consideration may be made for transportation or other items. There is room for a variety of artists and performers; so a variety of genres are encouraged to apply.

The main purpose of Atlanta Pride is to promote unity, visibility and self-esteem among lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender persons, and to promote a positive image of the LGBT community in the Atlanta area and throughout the Southeastern United States through community activities and services.
