“ A.J. Jordan, an unsigned rapper from Buffalo, New York that I've performed with at various Buffalo related venues in the past, says he is inspired to create music by "living life - my experiences, my struggles, my consciousness, the good and the bad things I've done and seen - it all influences me". "And so does good music - something with soul and a real message", he concluded. With more than ten years of experience in the music business and hundreds of recordings and live shows to tout, A.J. Jordan uses his vast experience as a performer when describing the kinds of people that relate to his music. "My music appeals to people who expect more out of life and want variety", says Jordan. "Musically speaking, I try to touch on every aspect of this world and what it means to live in it", he concluded. ”

"Artvoice Best of Buffalo winner for “Best Hip Hop Act,”AJ “The Crescendo” Jordan. The Crescendo can be a scary guy to look at—with his white-out eyes, tattooed forearms, and sadistic grin—but his performance speaks for itself and has earned him opening spots for the likes of Three Six Mafia, Kottonmouth Kings, and I.C.P."

“AJ Jordan The Crescendo | Buffalo, NY "On the cover of his 2012 album, The Sentimental Situations, rapper A. J. Jordan poses in front of a red brick church—but the horrorcore rapper’s lyrical content is far from holy. Jordan was voted Best Buffalo Hip-Hop Act in the 2012 and 2013 Artvoice Best of Buffalo poll. Nicknamed “The Crescendo,” the 31-year-old rapper has performed with members of Three Six Mafia and Insane Clown Posse. Apart from his frightening on-stage persona, Jordan also has a philanthropic side. He is involved with Terror Technologies Buffalo Zombies For Charity, which has raised over 5,000 pounds of donations in non-perishable foods to the Food Bank of WNY and donated over $2,000 to Make-A-Wish Western New York" - Leif Reigstad” - Leif Reigstad

"“Rejuvenated” – AJ Jordan and Grenzy film latest rap video at Haunted Hinsdale House"

716 rappers Grenzy and AJ Jordan have produced their latest rap video at one of the region’s most haunted houses, located in Hinsdale, NY. The house, known as “Haunted Hinsdale House” sets the mood for the 4K UHD Music Video.

Jordan has been voted Buffalo’s Best Hip Hop Artist in Artvoice for a record breaking three years in a row. When he’s not rapping, he’s busy as graphic designer/website developer at MaddTat2. “I’ve been filming, directing, and editing my own music videos since 2010 with Terror Technologies – Buffalo Zombies for Charity. They are prominently featured in many of my older music videos pre 2012 era. I dabble in flyer design and event promotions, etc. Pretty much a jack of all trades, looking to get my foot in the door of the Buffalo fine arts and music industry and branch out further. I’ve booked and traveled on my own to 25 cities, as a headlining tour across the country, and had a blast soaking in all that I can learn and absorb around the U.S.” - BuffaloRising.com

Bio

For over 15 years, indie rap veteran AJ Jordan The Crescendo has written and released original music straight from his hometown of Buffalo, New York. Infamous for his grimy aesthetic and infectious, high-energy performances, AJ has become a landmark figure among hip hop’s most hardcore listeners. The MC’s signature style combines sharp, densely-packed rhymes and ingenious lyrics with classic rap beats, updating an old-school sound for the modern era. Jordan does more than just sing and rap - he is an independent artist in every sense of the word: creating the artwork for his projects as well as dabbling in audio-visual engineering, film directing, promotional marketing, business consulting, and website design. A relentless worker, AJ Jordan released several projects between 2012 and 2020, including “Sentimental Situations” and the ongoing, multi-part manifesto “The Crescendo LP”. In that time he also performed at over 300 venues across the East Coast and Midwest alongside underground legends like Tech N9ne, Insane Clown Posse, (Hed)PE, and more. This run of live shows included a 14-city East Coast tour with Three 6 Mafia affiliate Prophet Posse, as well as the headlining, 25-city “Crescendo Across America Tour”. The rapper’s hard work did not go unnoticed - he was named Artvoice’s “Best of Buffalo” hip hop artist for three consecutive years; awarded the “Best Hip Hop/Rap Performer” at the All WNY Music Awards; and called “Buffalo’s Best Hip Hop Artist” by 103.3 FM The Edge.
