"This release wears its hard work on its sleeves."

There are elements in the album that resemble some great moments from indie rock and emo from the 90s. You can hear some of those elements in the song “Found Me Out”. I also hear tons of sounds throughout that would be great for fans of Owen, Pedro The Lion, maybe perhaps even more for fans of David Bazan’s solo work, and Iron And Wine. “Hungry Coyote” has this smooth folk influenced guitar riff with vocals that remind me of Matt Pryor when he’s in The New Amsterdams mode. - Sound in the Signals

"5 Stars"

This album is a startling mix of brilliantly honest lyrics and great music. Every song is from the heart of the song writer. An album to think about long after the music ends. - CD Baby Listener Review

"5 Stars"

The instrumentation is rich and varied from song to song, but appropriate in all instances to convey the emotions therein. Big electric guitars are at the forefront, but complimented perfectly with banjo, strings, organ and vocal harmonies. This record took nearly a year to make and it shows. Pick this up if you enjoy heartfelt, thought provoking alternative rock. - CD Baby Listener Review

"5 Stars"

You can tell Brandon poured his soul into writing this, and the instruments tell the story well. If ever get to hear him live and in person, don’t pass on the chance! - CD Baby Listener Review

Bio

All Around the Dinner Table is the solo project of Bad Apple Records co-founder Brandon Andrew Miles. With influences ranging from alternative greats like Smashing Pumpkins and REM as well as indie rock veterans like Mineral, David Bazan, and Weakerthans, Brandon spent years performing acoustic sets of original material alongside his labelmates (and often his bandmates) before finally producing full-band recordings of his own. These recordings eventually led to the debut LP release of From the Mouths of Shepherds, produced with Rory Willis (known best for his work with Buffalo Rodeo and Anthologies), followed by a string of full-band live performances and smaller, intimate living room tours.

Brandon is also a husband and father, an entrepreneur, a church Deacon, podcaster, writer, amateur theologian, and superhero enthusiast.
