Devon Arnett Bazemore Barnes, aka 100 Proof Haze, was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, a small borough outside of Philadelphia. Devon always had an ear for good music. He would listen to Biggie, 2Pac, Eminem, Meek Mill, Future, and even took a liking to some rock bands like Linkin Park and Papa Roach. He moved to Collegeville, Pennsylvania when he was a kid and spent most of his time making music. He would go back to Norristown and Philadelphia to visit friends and family, but on March 1, 2013, his life would change. He was found in posession of firearms and was sentenced to 2 years in prison. When he came home, his friends had already moved on to better recording studios and threw him in the mix. In the fall of 2017, Devon founded a company called 100 Proof Music LLC. He recorded an 8 track mixtape called "100 Proof" and sold it on the streets of Philadelphia and Upper Darby everyday. Over 2,000 copies were bought from people who believed he would make it. One Day he hopes 100 Proof will be more than a label, but forever a platform for artists to make real music. But the love that the city of Philadelphia and 69st gave him will never be forgotten #100
