Biography

100 Resolutions. an acoustic duet based in a small village of Oxfordshire called Harwell. Starting in March 2006, Adam Barnes the vocalist and guitarist alongside Mike Thomas the Guitarist and occasional singer both had the same dedication and intrigue in the acoustic genre of the scene to try and see if something would work. After previous attempts of bands had failed the two tried something a bit smaller and a different genre and it seemed to click straight away, being able to perform Sitting Waiting Wishing and various other Jack Johnson covers was until after summer their main way of songs.

The Duo mainly influenced by songs from Death Cab For Cutie, Jack Johnson, Brett Dennen, Joe Wilson, Joshua Radin, John Mayer, Jeff Buckley with various local bands and alot of time to work with each other on perfecting there songs, this pair have been realized as some of the future artists to come out of UK, what set them apart is there young and interesting look on the way to put across there songs. with melodies that even an experienced songwriter would be taken aback by.

The past year has been some what of a Roller coaster from the covers to there own songs in mid August of 2006 producing there very first song together 5 months after there first practice but it was the start of things to come and they soon started to rack up the songs by the end of the year they had recorded the first 7 song e.p and happened to release it early february 2007. The highlight if the 2006 year came in Novembe, opening the acoustic night at Sweatbox it being there very first gig it was a huge hurdle to overcome but from the response after they completed that with flying colours.

This band has finally started to take action and write songs, showing the local area that there is still young talent out there to be found. With their unbelievably catchy chorus' and melodic lines there something that really should be watched over the next few years. being compared to bands like The Fray, James Blunt, Teddy Geiger, Death Cab For Cutie and Joshua Radin, producing tunes that are taking the Oxfordshire area by storm.

2007 was a big year for the pair, giggin around south England and trying to get there music out there they came across challenges but they still write and play with as much Energy that they started with, if not more. During summer 2007 they started writing for there 2nd E.p titled ''This Night Will Go As Follows..'' an 8 Track sampler of there best songs to date is set to be a highlight local album of the year and one which will defiantly bring them into the light of local labels and artists around.

As 2007 comes to an end they will be finishing the year off with a tour with a band called Organized Confusion and then see whats in store for 2008 to come.
