The rapper/songwriter from Washington DC has been recording music since he was 13. “I released my first project when I was 20 entitled Capital Gain. Since 2010 I released 5 other solo projects and appeared on several other artists’ singles and projects. On Aug 5, 2016 I released my most anticipated album 1200Degrees,” 1200Money points out. The latest release features the song “In The Building” that was produced by Mark Henry who’s produced for Fabolous, Wale, Juicy J, and other mainstream artists.
Being named as one of the top 5 rappers ‘Next To Blow’ in DC, 1200Money has also hosted a TV show and has started his record Label More Den Enough with his manager/business partner Kevin Beasley. In 2017 he’s expected to release several more projects work on a documentary, build his label’s roster, and perform globally. - RBL

1200 Money was born on November 26, and raised by his parents in an area saturated with crime and sub-standard living conditions he was met with many street challenges. He embraced hip-hop and started to rap at the impressionable age of fourteen years old and at that time is when he knew the dream he wished to pursue. He began writing rhymes at fifteen years old and simultaneously performing and winning local talent shows at age sixteen. Establishing a diverse fan base in his Tyler House neighborhood. 1200Money connected with his friends and formed the group “Tyler Fly”. From there, he stepped to the forefront with his unique delivery and quickly birthed catchy verses, and a distinguished voice. With lyricism playing a major role in his music, it was now obvious why 1200Money stood out as he as developed a style unlike anyone in the (DMV) D.C, Maryland and Virginia area. He spits with a confidence and bravado that puts all competition on notice. Simply put his style is unmatched. 1200Money was featured on DCTV in April 2008, every Monday for winning a local talent competition in which he gained more recognition and was officially a force to be reckoned with in the D.C. area for 2010. In an effort to build his rap “resume” 1200Money gave the consumers some insight to his ability as a feature on Garvey, The Chosen One’s album Hard Hat Area Vol.1, which was one of the top selling CD’s highlighting any DMV artist at one of DC areas most reputable stores Downtown Locker Room. The CD also featured Memphis superstar Yo Gotti. Releasing 6 projects since 2014 he is geared up to debut his current project “1200DatRadio” album which has the Streetz on Fire. 1200Money is focused, driven and relevant as he continues to perfect his craft. Undeniably, he has already self-proclaimed 2019 as his year to Take off in a major way.
