Biography

In late 2010, Cab teamed up for the third time with producer/musician Jason Kent (Sunfields) to produce their longest and most developed batch of recordings to date.”Leave the Porch Light On” features nine alt-country-blues pieces concerning love, heartache, redemption, death, compassion and whiskey drinking. The album was released on October 4 2011 independently on CD and ITUNES.

About us:
Led by singer, guitarist and songwriter Charles A. Barrington, Montreal rootsy country blues band Cab proffer their second EP in as many years, and it's won me over entirely. Mastery of their genre is complemented by superb production from Jason Kent, which results in a highly listenable, albeit brief, collection of five songs. It's not an exaggeration to say that Cab's mature, raw and bitterly honest songwriting and musical textures rival those of heavyweights and peers such as Grateful Dead or early '70s-era Rolling Stones, while Barrington's voice continues to remind me mostly of Black Crowes' Chris Robinson. Cab deserve to rise quickly

Francais:
