12 Gage and the CIA

Band info: The band was started by Gage Blevins in 2007 and has gone through many changes including being made into an LLC. The band has played festivals, parties, private gigs and much more. The name of the Band is 12 Gage and the Deep Blues band but the Band plays much more than just blues, from rock to pop, jazz and reggae, covers and originals.

Petra Blevins: Born in the Czech Republic in 1984, she learnt flute and sang as a child at music school for youth. In recent years Petra has taken professional vocal lessons and taught herself percussion and has learned to play guitar. Petra is vocalist and instrumentalist for the band. Her influences ABBA, Beatles, Guns and Roses, Evanescence and many more

Gage Blevins: Born in Springfield, Illinois in 1988. Gage taught himself guitar, takes professional vocal lessons, has taught himself many other instruments, is in college for music production and music theory. Gage has been fortunate enough to play on 3 Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruises. He is the lead guitarist, vocalist and lead songwriter for the band. His influences are Eric Clapton, Warren Zevon, Tom Waits, Keb Mo

Thomas Thorpe: born in Springfield, Ohio in 1965. He first took piano lessons at age 9, started playing guitar in high school, and played various instruments in his school band and orchestra. He began playing with 12 Gage and the Deep Blues Band in the spring of 2009, first as a guitarist and later as a singer and keyboard player.
