Feeling a bit camera shy

12 Gauge Fuse is a “powerful” quartet that “fuses” the best elements of blues, classic rock, grunge and modern hard rock with a metal edge. With jingles as a regular feature on the Marconi show on 101.1 KUFO, 12 Gauge Fuse is quicky becoming a Portland Favorite.

With fast growth of friends on myspace.com and sharing the stage with such national acts as Earshot and Powerman 5000, 12 Gauge Fuse gaining ground every month.

Formed in Portland Oregon in March of 2005. This band is a www.craigslist.com success story. The internet was key in bringing together members that were geographically separated. With influences that range from Alice in Chains, Chris Cornel, Crossfade, Metallica, Mudvayne, Nirvana, Primus, Shine Down to AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Lynard Skynard, Rush, Stevie Ray Vaughn and various blues, funk and jazz artists, there is a large enough pool to draw from for a solid foundation. 12 Gauge Fuse is a band that never wants to “arrive”, the idea is to constantly better their sound and technique.

Instead of trying to fit the mold of modern hard rock, this band produces a sound that is true to their roots and beliefs. They do what is natural and let their unique personalities shine out. While the lyrical focus of the band so far is on the struggle of life, overcoming problems and spiritual reflection, they like to have fun. Their good nature come honestly and always shines out at their shows. 12 Gauge Fuse has energy and soul that is infectious and spreads to the crowds that they entertain.

If you are hearing about this band for the first time, then be certain it will not be the last. With a tenacious approach that is fortified with the belief that open minded determination, and creative marketing plans will lead to success in an overcrowded market, 12 Gauge Fuse will carve their name in the mountain that is Rock Music.
