*12 Biography *

Born and raised in New Orleans, La on the 8th day of June 1982 , the introduction of “12” began. Originally born Leonard J. Crawford,”12” received his musical influences at a very early age. His father was a southern-renowned gospel organist, embedding the soulful influences in him at early age of 3 yrs old. His “musical” begins started at the age of 12, unconsciously unleashing his innate ability to capture many melodies. By 13, he realized his potential and began singing &practicing everyday. Then he began developing his style by studying such crooners like: Brian Mc Knight , Boys 2 Men, Jodeci, Babyface, Mint Condition , Stevie Wonder ,112 and many ,many more. By 14, he formed a extremely talent group with 4 young men called “ Chemistry”, where he perfected his harmonization and songwriting skills. Chemistry was renowned for their intricate harmonies, allowing them to win many high school talent shows as well as gigs ( weddings, birthday parties, etc.) By the age of 17 the legacy of “Chemistry” came to its’ end , therefore beginning the solo career of “12”. From 17 to 24 his vocal, writing &performance skills as well as music production &business knowledge developed tremendously . From the Clubs and Café s of New Orleans to the National stages of American Idol “12” has paid his dues and is prime to give the R&B industry a fresh new sound as an artist/writer and producer !!!!!!!!
