"12 Step Program/Drinkfist at the Dog"

Then I see this band get on the stage and someone tells me they are called 12 Step. I noticed the place was packed and so I figured they might be okay even though two of them looked like preppies. They took the stage and blew the lid off the place!!!!!! I can't really remember one tune in particular because they were all really powerful. Great sound. I couldn't take my eyes off them and if anyone has the chance to go see them DO SO! I am not easily impressed either.

"12 Step Program"

Anyway, I saw 12 step for the first time yesterday and I was totally surprised. These guys will never NOT go crazy while playing. The guitarists even had a nice duelling solo (hehe not what you think!). I'm so psyched to play a show with these guys. It will be a night to remember. All 3 of them.

Bio

12 Step Program produces a sound unlike any other. Their brand of "Core" music is catchy yet brutal. They pull you in with their groove based verses and explode into head smashing choruses that knock even the toughest crowd on their heels. The two guitars seem to weave together, one crunching to keep the power behind the song and the other layering on top to provide intricate creshendos and dips for the crowd to feast on. The bass is one of those you can feel in your bones; the deep toned pounding that just makes you want to stomp your feet. The drums are intricate, but simple enough to make everyone in the place bob their heads. And the vocals flow through the verses and combust through the choruses with a blind rage unsurpassed by any describable measure. With influences ranging from Mudvayne, Hatebreed, and Pantera to early Incubus, Metallica, and Korn they craete a sound that is all their own. Playing for few or many they bring charisma and energy to the stage that captivates any audience. Promote them and they will not dissapoint!
