Still working on that hot first release.

17 Wheeler is an Americana/Alternative Country outfit that has created their own unique sound using the idea of originality met with classic familiarity.

Influences range from Hank Sr., Waylon, Neil Young, Robert Earl Keen, Townes Van Zandt to more modern sounds of The Drive-By Truckers, Bottle Rockets and BR-549.

T.D.U. stays away from “bar band” clichés while still remaining true to the roots of country and rock. Ronnie Elliott's vocals are raw and true and seem to entangle with his gritty southern guitar tone. Jeff Rady's slide guitar and melodic guitar lines are a signature of their sound thrilling long-time country fan’s and young “rockers” looking for a new sound. These young songwriter’s tunes are often about small town alienation, relationships, booze, drugs, and criminals. Giving a unique and relevant viewpoint to modern day rural America. All in all, The Dirty Union has years of experience going from country ballads to playing an arsenal of rock tunes all night long. The Dirty Union is the real deal coming to a town near you.
