I'm Ready

Written By: She'Ra Hagans

I use to sit there with a fake smile platered across my face
I didn't wan to be here
Look around who wouldn't want to escape from here
There's nothing here but coldness that cause loneliness
The lights are on but nobodies home

Can you blame me for wanting something more
Than what I've been handed
I took for granted all that I demanded

I wanted peace and waged war for it
I wanted freedom and slaved away for it
I'm over stuffed
I'm all hyped up and roarin' to go
I'm slowly evaporating and I still can't get enough

I use to sit there staring into a mirror viewing my reflection
Seeing all my years of rejection
I'm in over my head
This is getting old and I still haven't learned my lesson yet
I'm still hoping to cathc that train
That's bound for glory

Can you blame me for wanting something more
Than what I've been handed
I took for granted what I all along demanded

I wanted peace and I waged war for it
I wanted freedom and I slaved aways for it
I'm over stuffed
I'm all hyped up adn roaron' to go
I'm slowly evaporating and I still can't get enough

Because this is getting old and I'm getting older
I can't go back in time
Where is that train
I'm ready for glory
I'm ready for glory

Can you blame me for wanting something more than what I've been handed
I took for granted what I all along demanded

I wanted peace and I waged war for it
I wanted freedom and I slaved away for it
I'm over stuffed
I'm all hyped and roarin' to go
I'm slowly evaporating andf I still can't get enough

Lay There Lady

Written By: She'Ra Jakara Hagans

You put your hands up to show you gave up
Your always afraid to speak up so you just shut up
How do you expect to move up when your stuck

You had enough
So lay and lay
You can't stand to face the day
So you lay and lay
You can't stand to face the world today

You lay
You lay there
Lay there lady
Lay there you can't rise from the ashes of your dreams
Lay there your burnt out on life it seems
Lay there
Lay there lady

You look at you and your fed up
You don't like what you see
Your always looking for your flaws
You don't believe in you at all
Your afraid to fail so you never try

You had enough
So you lay and lay
You can't stand to face the day
So you lay and lay
You can't stand to face the world today

You lay
You lay there
Lay there lady
Lay there you can't rise from the ashes of your dreams
Lay there your burnt out on life it seems
Lay there
Lay there lady

You always wanted validation instead you just wasted away
Now you procrasinate
You can't bring yourself to concentrate
Your head's down now and your broken down
And time is just ticking away

You had enough
So lay and lay
You can't stand to face the day
So lay and lay
You can't stand to face the world today

You lay
You lay there
Lay there lady
Lay there you can't rise from the ashes of your dreams
Lay there your burnt out on life it seems
Lay there
Lay there lady

Promises

Written By: She'Ra Jakara Hagans

I walked across state lines long before you ever stepped into my life
I've always been a train wreck a basket case long before you ever came in and went away
You didn't make me you didn't break me cause
I'm still standing here today
I heard you laugh you saw me cry

I use broad strokes to paint the picture of a pretty face
I keep looking to see my name in city lights everyday
I keep looking for you but you kept slipping away
Now your a step
Your just a step on the ladder of life, another page in my story

Don't look to be forgiven
don't come back to me
Who's heart did you think you were breaking
Who do you think you are
You promised to stay but you closed the door
You promised to remember but you forgot I exsisted
Now you want me but you don't get to have me

The gift the burden it hurts
I've carried it across seas no wings to carry me
so I never needed you to lift
I could always see I never needed you to guide me
You didn't make me you didn't break me cause
I'm still stand here today
I heard you laugh you saw me cry

I use broad strokes to paint the pictue of a pretty face
I keep looking for my name in city lights everyday
I keep looking for you but kept slipping away
Now your a step
Your just a step on the ladder of life, another page in my story

Don't look to be forgiven
don't come back to me
Who's heart did you think you were breaking
Who do you think you are
You promised to stay but you closed the door
You promised to remember but forgot I exsisted
Now you want but you don't get to have me

You should have kept your promises
You should have kept your promises to me
You should have kept your promises
You should have kept your promises to me
You have kept your promises
You should have kept your promises to me

I use broad strokes to paint the picture of a pretty face
I keep looking to see my name in city lights everyday
I keep looking for you but you kept slipping away
Now your a step
Your just a step on the ladder of life, another page in my story

Don't look to be forgiven
don't come back to me
Who's heart did you think you were breaking
Who do you think you are
You promised to stay but you closed the door
You promised to remember but you forgot I exsisted
Now you want me but you don't get to have me
