Bio

Lance Horne & The One Night Stands launched this summer at a sold-out evening at Joe's Pub, NYC. Their sound draws on the classic 70s piano sound of Elton John and Billy Joel, mixing in Robbie Williams, Alanis Morisette, George Michael, and classical structures from Britten and Adams. This is not your mother's One Night Stand.

Lance Horne (Vocal, Piano, Guitar) is not your typical Juilliard faculty member. While travelling around the world premiering new works for opera, theater, and dance, his pop/rock material continued to develop, prompting him to gather three sexy, consummate musicians to form the One Night Stands (1ns):

Randy Redd (Vocals, Keys) writes and performs his own work in New York and on tour nationally. Currently on faculty with Lance at NYU, teaching pop/rock voice, and on Broadway in Johnny Cash: Ring of Fire

Chris Jago (Drums) comes from Liverpool, music supervising the burlesque show at Tangerine, TI, Vegas on the weekends, and playing in bands throughout Europe in between.

Alex Skolnick (Bass) hails as the guitarist from Testament, and plays lead guitar with the TransSiberian Orchestra when not rocking out with the 1ns.
