MATERIAL: The sound of 24E is a mix of various 90's-rock styles with fine songwriting that touches on common relationship topics. The songs are impressive, with excellent crescendos of passion and sound. The lyrics are poignant and seem written by an old soul. The vocals are slightly reminiscent of Mother Love Bone. Some songs sound like a poppy Smashing Pumpkins, while on most, the guitars soar into forever like U2.
MUSICIANSHIP: It's a toss-up whether the best part of 24E is the vocals or the combined musicianship. There is not a weak link in the band - Auer bangs a perfect beat and sounds just right in the mix, Tingley hangs back until he is needed to shred, then cuts loose. Adler provides more than solid bass lines, he adds life to the songs with efficient backup vocals. When Fergerstrom picks up a guitar, he uses it well, adding rhythm to Tingley's solos, which come easy, unforced and backed by emotion.
PERFORMANCE: While songwriter Fergerstrom appeared as the heart and soul of the band, Adler was the band's cheering section. By bouncing around the stage, grinning and sweating while throwing his hair and generating his vibe around the club, Adler pumped up an already psyched crowd. Tingley used his guitar to communicate with the crowd, and showed he is a master with the instrument.
SUMMARY: 24E plays like a band that spotlights the music. While offering nothing new, what this act does offer has been refined well and executed perfectly. There is no ego, but the music is assured and well put together, with each player taking part in a wall of sound.

Emerging from the Inland Empire of Southern California, the four-man rock band 24E was born in 2004 with founding members Chad “c-blime” Fergerstrom on lead vocals & Bryan Auer on drums. Originally dubbed “24Elders” (which means ‘the constant state of music’), the band recorded 13 tracks for their self-titled first release. The song “Broken” received national radio airplay and the project sold several thousand copies.
In 2005, the band shortened its name to 24E, added Travis Tingley on guitar, Steve Adler on bass & recorded “Dirt Love Songs” on Jupiter Records, which attracted some major industry buzz & got the attention of one of the most highly respected attorneys in entertainment law, Owen Sloane.
Although they all hailed from Temecula, CA, none of the band members knew each other until after high school. “All the pieces are in place now,” says lead vocalist & songwriter Chad. “There’s an energy in the songs, something that connects with the audience.” Their song, “Love Is” from their latest EP debuted at #37 on the FMQB “HOTAC” Charts in June of 2006 and is continuing to climb as of this writing.
The band just finished their full length cd with Rob Hoffman of Elicit Productions (Christina Aguilera, Hole, Michael Jackson).
