It's WONDERFUL! You guys have such a sweet spirit together...the best way to describe the music's affect on me would be "calming, centering, etc." When the two of you sing together, it's almost like one voice. Very "folky" in a good way...It's refreshing to hear songs that seem so devoid of ego...just worshipful, loving, grateful love letters to God. I just wanted to share with you both how much I love your CD. You both have such wonderful voices and the blend of the two is truly beautiful. I have your CD and I want you to know that I listen to nothing else. Anyone that listens to you sing is truly touched in some way. My favorite song on the CD is "Little Bit of Heaven". Everytime I hear it, my soul sings with the thought that there is a little bit of Heaven in everything around us. All of the songs touched me in some way, and I just wanted you to know how important your words and music have become to me in such a short time. Dennis Barrett and Crystal Henderson form the duo 24One. Their families have been friends for many years, but God led Dennis and Crystal into ministry together a little over 2 years ago. Their music spans three decades of song-writing all coming together in God's perfect timing.
Crystal was just a child when God began to put songs in Dennis' heart. Little did he know that one day, more than 20 years later, the Lord would use that little girl to help him bring his gift of music to fruition. Bathing every aspect of their ministry in prayer, Dennis and Crystal began sharing their message to all who would listen. Their calling is to lift up and encourage fellow believers and to lovingly point non-believers to the one and only "Way, Truth, and Life."
Every song that anyone has ever written has a story behind it. The songs of 24One are no different. They speak boldly of the gift of Jesus Christ and praise for His sacrifice. Their songs also reflect the struggles that humanity often faces in living a life fully surrendered to Christ.
There is not a soul that cannot be touched by music. The prayer of 24One is that God would use theirs to minister to the hearts of His precious children.
