Biography

Born and raised in the city of Baltimore, Md. Wykeen Lewis always wanted to become a singer. He has a very musical family and they all sing. At the age of six, He was the youngest person ever to attend Peabody's world-renowned musical institute. Four years of vocal and piano training, He could now make his dream come true. He moved on and became a member of a local singing group called Undercover. Which turned out to be one of the best groups in the city? As they grew their music matured and they changed the name of the group to Protégé. The group gained personal interviews with industry powerhouse, Clive Davison, Sylvia Rome and Ron Grant. They opened for The Young Gunners, Beannie Man and Tony Blunt. They produced several tracks for Def jam recording artist Comp as well as local artist Boss Man, Huli Salome. They did not think that the talent was ever the question. They thought management was the problem. As time went on, He found his self-getting bored singing the same old cover songs. He could not see the originality in it. So finally, he started to do his own thing singing, writing and producing his own music, his own style. He thought that this is something no one has heard before and what they have all been waiting for. He is Wykeen Lewis and they are 2 Hood Productions.
