Cross Your Mind

Written By: Godbey/Orlik

You stood by me when I was young and afraid.
It was your Love that made me brave.

The winds of change came crashing through our lives.

You came into my life one summer afternoon, when you first looked into my eyes, I knew.
I thought the love we had would stand the test of time.

Oh... all the dreams we had, that never would come to pass, Does it ever cross your mind?

I can see your face, whenever I close my eyes, nothing can erase these memories. Suddenly I'm back in time, holding your hand in mine, in this world of love I'm free!

You Stood by me when I was young and afraid, It was your love that made me brave.

The winds of change came crashing through our lives, Oh all the things we shared, your said that you'd always care. Does it ever Cross Your Mind?
Oh.. all the dreams we shared, you said that You'd always be there, Do I ever Cross Your Mind?

The Promise

Written By: Godbey/Zinn

It's the springtime, I see the sadness in your eyes.
In the meantime, it's a look i recognize.
What would you say, if I said just let me be, there's someone for you, but it's not me.

Every nighttime, I lay my head to go to sleep.
I remember the things I said, but it's a promise I can't keep.
What would you say, if I said just let me be.
There's someone for you, but its not me.

It's a fine line, between love and hearts that break, and I wont try to change the love that lovers make.
What would you say, if I said just let me be.
There's someone for you, but its not me.
What would you say, if I said just let me be. There's someone for you, but its not me.
It's not me..

Looking for a Friend

Written By: Dale Godbey

The worlds moving fast it seems,
the only thing standing still are your dreams.
I'm looking for a friend, one who'll be true till the end, a friend, looking for a friend.

Today's been so extreme, everyone's in a rush to be free. I'm working to slow down, take a dirt road and head out of town with a friend, looking for a friend.

And... when we find a place to stay, we'll play, We will waste away the day..Oy-vey!
I'm looking for a friend, one who'll be true till the end, a friend, looking for a friend!

It's all or nothing now a days, there's something to be said for old ways, I'm working to slow down, take that dirt road and head out a town, with a friend, looking for a friend.

And,... when we find a place to stay, we'll play, we will waste away the day...O.K. !

I'm looking for a friend, one who'll be true till the end, a friend, looking for a friend!...... Looking for a friend (repeat)
