"2ndPD CD"

2ndPD colours ferm popsongs with synthbasses, drumloops and filtereffects. The result is much more then just a hip sounding rockband; 2ndPD’s got a good own sound. Good songs - Oor magazine

"CD review"

What a pleasant surprise! With 2ndPD rock, industrial and electronica blend together to something that is more melodic and less harsh then you’d think. Although there are a lot of influences the band never gives the impression to want to much. With that 2ndPD is more than a promise alone, and that’s rare on it’s self. Great songs! - Live XS magazine

"Review Skip a Day"

With heartwarming melodies and juicy chords the band kicks in.. - 3FM National radio

"CD review"

..2ndPD certainly’s got it’s own sound. Everything a band needs to catch attention.. - Music Maker magazine

"CD review"

2ndPD from Tilburg fits well in a time where the 80’s are completely back. The compositions are put together cleverly with catchy melodies and subtle unexpected changes which keep the listeners undevoted attention. - Fret magazine

First as a homestudio-project, but soon as a real band with next to Bart D (guitars, programming) and Rias (vocals, guitars) also drummer Bart v/d Put and bassplayer Ron Claassen. The style of music wich resulted is electro-rock. Influences come from such divers styles as; rock, pop, industrial, wave and funk. Artists of influence; David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode and Millionaire.
Early 2003 the first 8-track demo-cd was released, recorded in Bart D’s homestudio. The cd, on which the song is the common factor, got very good reviews in numerous magazines, such as; Oor, Live XS, Fret, Music Maker and UP magazine. Airplay on Dutch and Belgian national radiostations, such as 3FM, Kink FM, Studio Brussels and VPRO.
In march 2003 the band started performing live across The Netherlands and with their professional, impressive and energetic show got many overwhelming reactions.
