The talents of Steve Johns and Karen Hanna combined around 2 ½ years ago in an exceptional musical partnership that is evident in their smooth performance, obvious enjoyment of their craft and their extensive repertoire of popular songs from the 1940’s through to current hits.
Steve Johns has over 30 years experience in the music industry as a musician, composer/songwriter and teacher. His vast experience includes piano, trumpet and percussion with the Royal Australian Navy, jazz & piano studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, performance in an extensive range of genres, recording and session work on jingles & albums, and he holds a Bachelor of Arts (Contemporary Music) from Southern Cross University.
Like most accomplished vocalists Karen Hanna simply loves to sing & was influenced from an early age by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Barbara Steisand, Dione Warwick and Carole King. Her experience ranges from duos & pub bands to harmony choruses & a capella choirs.
