We're an Americana, Rock n Roll, Country band. We play music that we identify with, and most of the time it's from vastly different sources. We're starting to work in some of my original songs. We're held together by the grace of God, and by a love for each other and for the music we play together.

What I Now Know

Written By: Micah Crouch

It’s been a long day once again.
I close my eyes, lay down my head,
My thoughts on times in days gone by
when I didn’t know so much of life.
The more I dwell on old memories
the more I wonder where I’d be
if I, a different path had chosen
knowing back then what I now know.

Sometimes it’s not so hard to paint a picture in our minds
of a life that could have been in a different place in time.
But when I pick up my guitar, play it long into the night
in that moment, it seems like everything’s alright.

As I go on, the years go by
and life keeps changing day to day.
How did I get to here and now?
Sometimes I wish I could get out.
But once I heard a good man say
don’t seek another yesterday.
Learn from you failures along the way,
that makes you what you are today.

Sometimes it’s not so hard to paint a picture in our minds
of a life that could have been in a different place in time.
But when I pick up my guitar, play it long into the night
in that moment, it seems like everything’s alright.

Story To Tell

Written By: Micah Crouch

G
Came just off the leeward coast, four weeks around the world
F C G
Trying to catch the sun as it goes down.
G
Looking where adventure turns to legend turns to stone
F C G
Don’t we all just love the way that sounds

F C G
It’s not about the money or the odds
F C G
It’s not about us never getting caught
F C Eb Dm
While people try to get ahead and live their own lives well
F C G
I just wanna have a story to tell.

G
It came through right on time just maybe faster than we’d planned
F C G
We still caught our midnight ride away.
G
There’s no need to wonder why, or how it all turned out
F C G
Don’t know if we’ll take that ride again

Repeat Chorus

G
Coming through Topeka had a run-in with the Man,
F C G
Rode away with cuffs around my hands.
G
A long, uneasy weekend and we’re driving down the road.
F C G
May be a while til I go that way again.

Repeat Chorus

Bringing In The Dawn

Written By: Micah Crouch

Well, the moon’s coming up and the sun’s setting low
and this week has gone by way too slow(ly)
but the weather’s good and the feeling’s right
we just might have to take all night.
Kick your legs out, step in time!
Honey, put your hand in mine
we’ll cut the rug all up and down this floor.

We can two-step high, or swing out low
or twirl around in a tango
Charleston, East, or West Coast Swing!
Without it it don’t mean a thing
Or we could waltz all night long, and
spend all night bringing in the dawn.....

Just let the music flow into your soul
and pour it out on the ol’ dance floor
feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme
get on up y’all, it’s swinging time.
together we’ll just float away,
dance until the break of day
dance, dance, dance the night away.

We can two-step high, or swing out low
or twirl around in a tango
Charleston, East, or West Coast Swing!
Without it it don’t mean a thing
Or we could waltz all night long, and
spend all night bringing in the dawn.....

Well, there’s no need to wear a fancy dress
to Lindy Hop or do the twist.
Live band or the radio?
don’t matter, stay light on your toes.
One more time, the feeling’s free!
Right now it’s just you and me
dancing just like it’s meant to be.
