In three years time, Chicago’s 2*Sweet has evolved from an impromptu sham band into Alternative Press Magazine’s “#1 Unsigned Band of 2007.” Their silly N*Sync, World Wrestling Federation inspired name aside, the band has quickly become known for their energetic live show and relentless efforts to create a blend of music they can call their own. Their debut full-length CD Sleep Without Dreams carefully fuses heavy riffs from their 90’s rock and metal influences with epic operatic vocals and pop hooks found in today’s arena rock circuit.
