Bio
Jen - I started down my musical road by playing trombone in grade school. That went by the wayside when I got sick of lugging the thing back and forth to school; I couldn't very well have my arm around some cute boy when I was carrying something that weighed almost as much as I do. I actually started vocal training in Jr. High when I elected a choir class to avoid taking gym class. Consequently, I spent six years in the Fraser Schools music program under the direction of Pat Pascaretti as an alto or soprano as needed. I still sing under his direction in Metropolitan Detroit Chorale, Inc. whenever my schedule allows. I blame Pascaretti for my performance addiction, and thank him for his demanding, tyrannical ways (which are a requirement of a good maestro, by the way). If I had to pick one single musical influence, it would be him.
I have performed with or without other vocalists/musicians at dinner shows, concerts, weddings, ordainments, talent competitions, and - of course - local karaoke venues. I have performed as far away as MGM Grand, Las Vegas. My choral training has exposed me to almost every style of music - from chants to classical to country to showtunes. I always go back to my Rock & Roll roots, though. Since finding my second love - ice skating- at age 30, I have also performed in ice shows & synchronized skating competitions.
Favorite vocalists: Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Mick Jagger, Stevie Nicks, Marvin Gaye, Natalie Cole, Donna Summer, Bonnie Raitt, Jim Morrison, Harry Connick Jr., Frank Sinatra, Robert Plant, Stephen Tyler, Ozzy, Chris Cornell, and Eric Clapton.
Special thanks to my three parents, my sister Julie, and my friends Lavon, Michael, and Traci for their continued support, and to Pat Pascaretti & Jackie Cole for their training and accompaniment over the years.
Bob - I sell high technology gear during the day that helps the world communicate. A pretty cool job and I have been very fortunate to enjoy a rewarding career. I have been playing guitar for over twenty years and my style is made of various excerpts from the music world. I enjoy blues, rock, rock-n-roll, jazz, country, and even an occasional Glenn Miller tune.
I play Fender Stratocasters and a PRS Custom 24. I use Marshall and Fender amps. My influences are Clapton, SRV, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, and Robin Tower. I also play the Tenor Saxophone . The sax comes out on special occasions.
I have played with Chaingang, Rockway, Shades of Time, Lisa Treat and Common Ground, Rock Bottom, and High Anxiety.
I am the creator of 2T Entertainment and concepts it employs to bring you quality entertainment. I handle the booking and coordination of performers for all engagements.
