Startup record label owner of ANC Records, 2wenty is the highlight of Alaska's rap scene! Starting back in 2002 2wenty started rapping at his high school and perfecting his talent in his longtime friend's studio. Overtime, 2wenty started to gather his knowledge and unique sound that separates him from the rest of the local scene in Anchorage, AK. Concluding his tenure attending ARTI in Orlando, FL longtime friend Tha Boss and 2wenty put of their first completed work which was a mixtape in the summer of 2009 titled Cold Summer vol.1. After the local success that Cold Summer vol. 1 brought, it didn't bring any regional or national attention and one of the reasons for that was being inconsistent as an artist was putting a hold on 2went's vision and overall musical works. So 2wenty took his ambitions a little bit further and established his own indie record label ANC Records in 2011 to ensure the consistency would be a top priority going forward. Also another major decision for 2wenty was to lead as a solo artist and leave the duo with his longtime friend as far as completing an album together. So after the two big decisions to go solo and establishing a record label, next was to put out the first album for the label which was released the same year 2011 titled My World. Although My World was a success so far as completing his first solo album, the album received some bad criticism and really lead to 2wenty's strong lyrical content and brash delivery for his upcoming solo project.
