Bio

30aut6 is from Valier, IL, a tiny town of around 700 in the Southern part of Illinois. They grew up on farms, and at heart are hard working country boys but that doesn't mean they can't rock. It is this 'real' element of the band that draws in so many fans. Members of the band have worked in the Coal Mines, Factories, Sheet Metal Union, and other labor intensive blue-collar jobs.

The band started together back in 2003 playing local shows together for years before taking a hiatus and returning together for their first show back on February 27th of 2010 to open for Saliva at The Copper Dragon. This show reignited all of their desires to start playing together and throughout 2010 they began to book more shows and increase their presence in Southern Illinois and the Midwest. They opened for Revis at their reunion show on October 29th, 2010 nearly a year to the day from their CD release party. After this show the real push to record an original album began.

In February of 2011 the band recorded a new 3 song EP with producer Marc Jordan from Los Angeles who has produced top level acts like Velvet Revolver, The Cult and more. The 3 songs built quite the hype for the band gaining radio play and significant increases in show attendance.

In May the band returned to the studio and recorded the remaining 7 songs for their full length debut. The mixing was finished in July and was mastered by the great Howie Weinberg. The band released a limited run of 1,000 CD's for their core fan base on October 28th to a full room of over 450+ fans.

Their resume also includes opening for top tier acts like:

Saliva
Seven Mary Three
Revis
Local H
Pop Evil
Vince Neil of Motley Crue
Cavo
Janus
Mindset Evolution

In the summer of 2011 the band headlined the Pop's Local Music Compilation CD Release Party at the St. Louis venue Pop's Nightclub.

The band was featured on the Pop's Stage at the well-known St. Louis music festival Pointfest 30 in May of 2012 but on by St. Louis Rock station 105.7 The Point.
