30 Dollars is an jazz and rock influenced band. It features original compositions and an emphasis on improvisation. All the members of the group have been performing in the Chicagoland area for years. Although the band has roots in jazz, They can definitely rock out! There is a unique melodic element to the group as well. Our influences include, but not limited to, pat metheny, jaco pastorious, joshua redman, phish, mahavishnu orchestra, primus, red hot chili peppers, jaga jazzist, and many others.
