Bio

Sometimes great things happen by chance.
In the fall of 2007 I (JIM) went to a benefit concert for flood victims in the Catskill mountains. One of the bands, old friends of mine the"Rausch Brothers"
were playing. Not having heard the band play for a while I was reminded of the soulful playing of Tom the bass player. After the set ended I spoke to Tom about getting together to work on some ideas I had. Within two weeks we had five songs written from the bottom up, bass/drums/groove first then adding melody and lyrics. We felt we were on to something with the different approach to writing. With the addition of Mike Ciliberto on guitar a three piece classic was formed. Power/soul/groove is a winning combination every time.

Tom Rausch....Singer/bass/songwriter
Tom got his first guitar from his father at the
age of nine and started performing at the age
of twelve with his three older brothers. With
no formal training but blessed with a great ear
Tom has been involved in recording sessions
with some of the top Hudson Valley musicians.
Thousand of hours of recording time with the
Rausch Brothers has been invaluable to his
studio experience. With decades of performing
under his belt, Tom still has the drive and
passion of a twelve year old. "Music is about
heart, love, passion, feeling, soul, relationships,
and fun and when it stops being about that it's
time to stop" (quote by Tom)
