Hands down 2013 just got kicked off to a really amazing starting! The Bamalanta “Sec Hip Hop Series” concert was “Off The Chain” (We’re not sure if that phrase is even still in style) [Laughs]. Either way that’s the only phrase that can explain this concert. We watched some of the most astounding artist do their thing. For us when artist hit the stage and leave their hearts on it simply gives us chills. The energy was great, venue was perfect, and the hip hop was in the air. You had Jackie Chain, Translee, KD, 38 HOTT, ATTITUDE, TOM P, E DUBB, Runway Richy, Hot Rod, and Bamn show us hip hop never left. On The Purple : Qush Qaraoke Night Vol.1, OS artist 38 Hott creates an eighteen-track argument for why he deserves to be standing dead center on the national stage. His ability to move between the various subgenera of hip hop, often within the realm of trap music, is exactly the type of diversity the current urban scene needs.
