James Brooks was born on September 8, 1988 in Jackson, Mississippi. At the age of 7, he moved to Arkansas residing on the North side of Little Rock. A combination of Southern swag and lyrical content, the music speaks for itself. As an artist under Fresh Music Ent., 3D have shared bills with various artists such as Rick Ross, David Banner, Ludacris, UGK, Bobby Valentino, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Mike Jones, and Hurricane Chris just to name a few. As of today, I am currently a student at Northwestern University and majoring in Industrial Engineering. As you can see, both music and education is very important to him. 3D released his first project, “Real Recognize Real”, last May and have to this date sold over 3,000 copies worldwide. The album created a big buzz on the Northwestern campus last year as many students had great reactions to one of their own pursuing a career and music.
